I took this opportunity to write a few words about a dear friend of ours that had passed away on the 19th October 2010 due to brain cancer.
I remember the first time we met, he was the timid 1 who always hide in 1 corner and skeptical to get close to us. His daddy said 1 of his eyes was blind, it was sad hearing that but @ least I knew the reason why he was acting that way.
Scamper was old, he was more than 10 and part of his skins were stained by the past skin cancer he suffered thru.
He is such a cutie, discipline, well-mannered and I still remember the hugs from him when we become friends, it warmth my heart knowing he trusted me as a friend. This was how our friendship started. We would play fetch with him with his brother Toby, the fun walks, snacks time and he especially love the massage. He knew the timing for massage and would lie down on his comfy bed letting us know he was ready.
Than things started to change, he started to yelp quite abit, no more mood to play fetch, not even his favourite snacks, and later he just hide in a corner and never wanted us to be close. I felt heart-broken, what happen to our dear friend?
On the 19th of October, as usual, I went to his house to see him but this time the atmosphere was different, he was sitting on the sofa and his daddy beside him with teary eyes, suddenly my heart felt sore, I knew something bad was gonna happen. Scamper's daddy said he was diagnosed with brain tumor and was suffering and they have to make a decision to put him to sleep. I can't stop holding my tears, it came too sudden, our dear friend that we have bonded was dying....
I missed you Scamper, you will always be loved and remembered .....
